Capital Region ranges, 2026

What projects cost here

Every project gets itemised written pricing after the site visit. These ranges let you sanity-check a budget before you call.

Scope Typical range Timeline
Kitchen remodel $15K – $85K 2–8 weeks
Bathroom remodel $8K – $60K 2–4 weeks
Basement finish $25–$100 / sq ft 4–12 weeks
Home addition $45K – $350K 6–24 weeks
Office fit-out $30–$120 / sq ft Varies

Ranges reflect scope and finish level. You get a fixed-price contract before work starts — not a “starting at” figure.

The difference on a multi-trade job

One crew. One contract. One call.

Most renovation problems come from the handoff between contractors. The plumber does not know what the electrician planned. The tile sub shows up before the waterproofing is done.

We self-perform every trade on the project. That means we know exactly what stage the job is at, we are accountable for the sequence, and there is no pointing at someone else when something goes wrong.

One project manager runs the job from estimate to final walkthrough. You get their direct number on day one. The same person who quoted you is the person who answers when you call.

What that means in practice

  • Faster schedules. No waiting for subs to become available between trades.
  • Fewer surprises. Problems found in framing get solved before they become tile or drywall problems.
  • Cleaner estimates. We know what every phase costs because we do every phase.
  • Real accountability. One company, one warranty, one number to call.

Common questions

Before you call

Do you handle permits?

Yes. We pull every permit the project requires, coordinate inspections, and get the CO. You do not have to track that yourself.

Are you licensed and insured?

Licensed general contractor in New York State. We carry general liability and workers compensation — certificates of insurance on request.

Do you use subcontractors?

We self-perform the majority of the work. For specialist trades (structural engineering, HVAC on large commercial jobs), we use vetted long-term partners we would put our name on.

How does the estimate work?

We do a free site visit, take measurements, and give you written line-item pricing against a defined scope. No ballpark figures, no “we will know when we open the walls”.

How far out are you booked?

It varies by season. Kitchen and bathroom projects in peak season (April–September) book out further. Call early — the estimate is free and getting on the schedule costs nothing.

Design and permit phases can run concurrent with the wait, so you are not losing that time.

Do you work in my neighbourhood?

We work throughout Albany County and the broader Capital Region — Colonie, Guilderland, Bethlehem, Cohoes, Troy, Saratoga Springs, Schenectady, and surrounding towns. Call or check the service areas page.
